Lucy Timbell studied printmaking at Adelaide College of the Arts. The
theme for this piece was "flight". The artist chose to create a
boat of refugees fleeing to Australia.
I love the balance of the asymmetrical waves, and the weight of the boat that compliments the land in the upper left corner.
