#10 Screenprinting - Shape

Edward Ruscha was born in 1937. This screen print was made in 1966. I think it is a great use of shape. The angled shape of the building in contrast with the gas stations themselves is a real eye catcher.

 

50 editions were made of this print. It is 19 5/8 x 36 15/16" (49.6 x 93.8 cm) in size on a sheet that is 25 5/8 x 39 15/16" (65.1 x 101.5 cm).
